Welcome to Age Calculator: Date of Birth ("AgeCalc"), developed by Fyno Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights. It applies to all users of the App on Android and iOS devices worldwide.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and contact us to request data deletion.
2. What Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
The App allows you to enter date of birth values to calculate age. This information is:
- Processed entirely on your device — never transmitted to our servers
- Stored locally on your device if you save a profile
- Permanently deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the App
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, the following technical data is collected automatically by third-party SDKs:

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect
- GPS or precise location
- Camera or microphone data
- Contacts, call logs, or SMS messages

- Financial or payment information
- Government ID numbers (CNIC, passport, SSN)
- Your date of birth or personal profiles — these stay on your device only
⚠ No Ads Notice: This app currently does not display any advertisements. No advertising SDKs (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.) are active. If advertising is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated with at least 14 days' advance notice.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use automatically collected technical data only for:
- Operating and maintaining the App
- Identifying and fixing bugs and crashes
- Monitoring and improving App performance
- Understanding how users interact with features to improve them
- Complying with applicable laws
We do NOT use data for behavioural advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, AI/ML model training, or any purpose beyond the above.

We do NOT request: location, camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, SMS, photos, or any biometric permissions.
6. Data Sharing

Data is shared only with:
- Google LLC (Firebase): As described in Section 4. Google acts as a data processor under contractual obligations.
- Legal authorities: Only if required by law, court order, or government request.
- Business transfers: With 30 days' notice if a merger or acquisition occurs.

8. Your Privacy Rights
All Users: You have the right to know what data is collected, request deletion, opt out of analytics, and withdraw consent by uninstalling the App.
EU / EEA Users (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict, and object to processing of your data. You may also lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
California Users (CCPA/CPRA): You have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and non-discrimination. We respond within 45 days.
To exercise any right: email contact@fynotechnologies.com with subject "AgeCalc Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days.
9. Your Controls & Opt-Outs
- Analytics opt-out: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID
- Notifications opt-out: In-App Settings → Notifications → Toggle off, or Android Settings → Apps → AgeCalc → Notifications
- Delete all local data: In-App Settings → Clear Data, or Android Settings → Apps → AgeCalc → Storage → Clear Data

10. Children's Privacy
AgeCalc is rated Everyone (3+) on Google Play. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). The core feature (age calculation) processes date of birth on-device only and never transmits it. If you believe a child has provided data, email us at contact@fynotechnologies.com and we will delete it within 5 business days.
11. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed exclusively by Google Play. Fyno Technologies does not receive, store, or process your payment card information. To cancel: Google Play → Subscriptions → AgeCalc → Cancel.
12. Security
All communication between the App and third-party services uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your date of birth and profiles are stored using Android/iOS secure local storage and are never transmitted off your device. We keep all SDKs updated and restrict Firebase console access to authorized personnel only.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification for 14 days. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
